I hardly go out in the evenings recently, but I have a plan for eating out in 19 days, so I've decided to start it ASAP.
It was in the evening, so the quickest delivery of brown rice would be in the afternoon in 2 days, but I wanted to start it from breakfast. (Yes, I basically shop everything online)
Then, I ordered Ready-To-Eat germinated brown rice on Amazon, which would be delivered in the morning.
I always take good time to select things when I shop online, and this was the cheapest and good quality, too.

I had this (160g a pack) with sesame and salt on top of it.
Breakfast 1 pack
Lunch 2 packs
It was very nice - not hard or anything at all.
For this diet, it's recommended to chew 100 times for the first bite, and I did, and I still chew around 100 times after that (^^)/
Then brown rice and millet rice arrived in the aftenoon, so I cooked them with Azuki beans for dinner.
Dinner 2.5 bowls
Ate a lot ! but it was sooo nice★
Then, something happened right after dinner...
I felt extremely drowsy, and fell asleep for 2 hours!!
Well, it was the first time in my whole life !
I usually don't have a nap, even if I have lack of seleep. Though, if I have a nap during the day, I can sleep only for half an hour or an hour maximum. But 2 hours!!
What is this!? Is this an effect of brown rice?! Is that so !?!?
Anyway, after that, I went to bed around 12.am, but couldn't fall asleep till 2am as usual.
Though, there was something remarkable.
I wake up for toilet at least once every night without fail, but I didn't wake up even once.
What is this!? Is this an effect of brown rice as well !?!?

Umeboshi(Japanese Pickled Plum)
Umeboshi you usually buy contains lots of stuff other than Plums and Salt, so it's very difficult to find the good old style one.
I bought "Umeboshi Paste" which made of jus Plums and Salt instead.
Though it was pretty difficult to find it as well, so I'll paste the link of what I've bought.

Sticky Brown Rice Cakes
They are very very good!!!
I'd rather have them as main instead of rice (*´Д`)
You find them a little bit sweet somehow.
( I love sticky rice cakes anyways)

Amazake(sweet fermented brown rice drink)
I like normal Amazake, but not brown rice one, as you feel skin of brown rice... I don't want it for snacks lol
I didn't really like it personaly, but you might want to have it incase you crave something sweet.

Tea
You could have Bancha, and Bo-cha (Kuki-cha) for substitution of Green tea. They are No caffeine or catechin version on green tea, I'd say.
They both are very nice with flavor and bitterness like green tea.
It took time to find the ones which are reasonable price, but nice and tastey, so I'll paste the link too.

I also have Corn Tea everyday. You could find it anywhere easily.
When I was talking with my friend, she suddenly said "This is the 11th day of a Brown Rice Diet today!" excitedly. My head went "???", as I've never heard of it. Though, it's very interesting as I searched on the web, I decided to give it a try :0)
What is "Brown Rice Diet?"
It's an ultimate way to reset your body system. What you do is you eat only brown rice for 10 days with no limit of the amount. From 11th day (where my friend were), you gradually increase variety of food to have for 6 days. On the 11th day, you have Miso soup with nothing in it along with brown rice. This would be wonderfully, supremely tasty !- my frien says, and I can imagine that as well after 10 days of eating only rice..
Effects of Brown Rice Diet
- Lose WEIGHT - Relieve CONSTIPATION - Make SKIN CLEAR and SMOOTH - Improve QUALITY of SLEEP - Relieve SHOULDER PAIN - Reduce the SWELLING - Drop BLOOD PRESSURE etc
My main purpose is DETOX ! Especially, relieve my long suffering Constipation!! Evacuate built-up waste material from the body by taking only brown rice which is a great source of Vitamins, Minerals, and Dietary Fiber, also, rest your stomach.
I've had chronic constipation from birth. It's very stubborn as having nothing out for a month is pretty usual. People wouldn't believe it, but it's true that if I just forget or leave it, nothing would come out for ages ( `ー´)ノ
Since the days of my earliest recollection, I've been constipated, so it's normal for me.
My weight actually is not heavy at all, but I want to sort my pot belly out !

How to do it
The way of this diet is simple. You only eat brown rice for 10 days with no limit of the amount. You could add millet rice and Azuki beans with brown rice. Yes, it's Ko-so rice (fermented germinated brown rice), which was popular amoung healthy people a while ago in Japan. Although, only brown rice is fine, too.
Chew well (more than 30 times), Sleep well, Do exercise(walking is recomended).
It's different from other diet. You don't have to suffer from hunger. You can eat when you want to♪
Afer 10 Days
As you have eaten only Brown Rice for 10 days, if you go back to your normal diet straight after, your body will be shocked.
Then, you take few days to get ready by Recovery meals.
Day 11 - Day 16
- Day 11 Brown Rice + Miso-soup with nothing in it
- Day 12 Brown Rice + Miso-soup with a little amout of Vegetables(No Animal Prodct even for Stock)
- Day 13, 14 Brown Rice + Miso-soup with lots of Vegetables
- Day 15 Brown Rice + Miso-soup with lots of Vegetables + 1 Vegetable Dish
- Day 16 Brown Rice + Miso-soup with lots of Vegetables + 1 Vegetable Dish(OK to have some seafood in it up to 10% of the dish)
★Many people seem like they have Recovery meals for just 4 days. I don't know which is the right way, but I'd try 6 day method, taking more time★
